This is what I remember.
Few years ago, Allaire was bought over by Macromedia. Products like ColdFusion, Homesite, etc. were from Allaire and many were worried that ColdFusion would be history after the bought over. However, Macromedia decided to keep ColdFusion and soon came the MX version for CFML as well. Now Adobe is going to buy Macromedia which makes Adobe even bigger. Guess Sun and Microsoft are going to face a likely challenger.
Now I am wondering whether is it wise to buy a Macromedia Flash MX 2004 reference book now.
