To clear the Recent project list from Visual Studio 2005, do the following
- Click Start Menu
- Click Run
- Type regedit
- Click OK button.
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\ProjectMRUList
- Delete unnecessary list.
