Inflation in Singapore for the month of April 2008 hits 7.5%, a 26 year high. Food, housing, transportation and communication contribute most to the increase in inflation. Whatever goes up will not go down for this case. I believe prices will remain unchanged for cooked food even if prices ease. When do you see price of chicken rice ever goes down?
