Manufacturing output in June 2008 rose 2.5% over the same month last year. On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, production in June increased 4.5% from May. Cumulatively, manufacturing output for the first half of 2008 registered a growth of 3.6% over the same period in 2007. The three-month moving average index for June 2008 was 5.2% lower than the same period last year.
