Strong Singapore dollar affecting US denominated funds?

Is a strong Singapore dollar affecting US denominated funds? Yes, it will be a loss if the fund prices do not rise as quickly enough to catch up with the appreciation of the Singapore dollar.

Not too sure when will the MAS intervene.
