Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao pledged to curb inflation and punish abuse of power in an online forum as Chinese police blanketed Beijing and Shanghai to head off planned protests inspired by revolts in the Middle East.
Yes, this "copycat" non-violence style protests had spread across the Africa to Middle East, from Tunisia to Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Bahrain, Jordan, Iran and Oman. I really do hope it will not spread further and put more strain to global economy, bringing prices of necessities even higher.
