Google+ begins issuing Verified badges for 'Celebrity' accounts

Google+ begins issuing Verified badges for 'Celebrity' accounts so we would know if profile pages of theirs really do belong to them.

For now, we’re focused on verifying public figures, celebrities, and people who have been added to a large number of Circles, but we’re working on expanding this to more folks.
The following screen shot shows Google co-founder Sergey Brin Google+ verified account.
